About how many babies does a betta have ??

Answers:
depends on how well you can condition the female.
While age and size plays a factor as well.
Dont forget that a female may produce X amount of eggs, but some of them wont make it to adulthood.
My largest spawn was a very large one that produced around 500 eggs.
It can range from 1-500 but on average 50-200, Research before you bread!.

About a few not 1or not a hundred but probably 3-9 it depends on the size of the beta and the habitat for the beta babies to survive they must have a certain temperature of water and a certain type of food, you can ask someone at a pet store for the specific information.
a female betta will lay about 500 little eggs wich the male will gard with his life. after mating the female shoul be remooved from the tank so that the extreamly protective male doesn't hurt or kill her.
around 30 at a time
Way too many to count unless you leave the male to care for them too long, then only a few.
A young smallish female will lay around 50-100 eggs and a large healthy female can produce up to 250-300. How many of the eggs hatch and live is up to the male betta and YOU.
You must provide very fine high protein food for them once they absorb their egg sac, feed them at least 3 times a day and do not run a power filter in the breeding tank. An air powered sponge filter is what should be used, it does not suck up the babies.
